catch error from expired or non certificate

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

My problem is:
From non-secure page i'm entering a secure one. In MSIE (but other browsers also) small window will pop-up where user can choose a certificate. Thing is if the choosen certificate is expired or user clicks Cancel button, browser gives an error page:
In MSIE (ver 6.xx) is quite bad, sice it's just general error message telling that something is wrong and suggestion that you should do something about browser settings.
In Opera is better, there is message that "Secure connection: fatal error (42) from server." and "Invalid, or non-verifiable certificate." ... so a bit more descriptive but still not enough for a common user.
I would like to catch this kind of error and display my custom jsp with clear error message for all browsers.

Is there possibility to catch this kind of error (perhaps with javascript) ?

Not sure if it matters, it's simple aplication where apache tomcat 6.x is server, with couple servlets and jsps.

Thanks for any comments.

Yeah, found some info about this. So if anybody interested, it's browser dependent issue. And all users would have to modify their browsers to get custom error messages. Like for MSIE there is need to modify file ieframe.dll.mui ... or something like that (and not sure if all version will be affected).
