Hi,
My company's architect has decided on adopting an architecture similar to Figure 1 of http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/html/JSPXML.html
There are two approaches I could use this XML data in a JSP page: -
1. Convert the XML elements into server-side objects and then extract the object properties.
2. Invoke a transformation on the XML data.
Irregardless of the approaches, what kinda presentation tier framework is ideal for this? We've decided on Struts...but it still lack on XML publishing?
Cocoon seems to do the job, but that framework is a whole new game as compared with Struts. I doubt we want to use another framework besides Struts.
Any comments are welcome.
