hey,

we can have multiple <web-resource-collection> in a single <security-constraint> right? but no need know..because we can define multiple <url-pattern> and <http-method> in single <web-resource-collection> right? only <web-resource-name> is unique in a single <web-resource-collection> right?

and only one <auth-constraint> per <security-constraint> right?

Thank You.

I think we can have single <web-resource-collection> element in a single <security-constraint> element.
And yes, we can define multiple <url-pattern> and <http-method> elements in a single <web-resource-collection>.
And only <web-resource-name> is unique in a <web-resource-collection>.And one <auth-constraint> element in a single <security-constraint>

Hi Bindu. We can have one or more <web-resource-collection> in a single <security-constraint> element. See SRV.13.4 Deployment Descriptor Diagram.

I was not aware of it as i never saw any example having multiple <web-resource-collection> elements in a single<security-constraint>.
Yes, we can have have one or many <web-resource-collection> elements when we need same <auth-constarint> element to be connected to different combinations of <url-pattern> and <http-method>. element.Right?

And i was not even aware of the beautiful DD diagram in SRV 13.4.
Thanks a lot.

I guess I've been abducted by space aliens. So unprofessional. They tried to probe me with this tiny ad:
