I have a singleton (collection of POJO objects) I want to make available to all apps on my OC4J app server. I have searched, but failed to find, what I need to do to deploy this singleton, get it loaded initially, refresh it once a day, and then access it from another application.

Can anyone point me to some reference(s) on this, please?

Thanks!

Put it in the application context, use Quartz to update it daily.

As far as using it in *another* application, that's a different issue, and depends on several factors. One of the most general-purpose solutions would be to expose the data as a web service.

This isn't really a general Java question; it should probably be in servlets... or something.
