I am trying to make a J2ME software but there seems to be a persistent problem to get rid of.
It seems that in the software I am building,
the value of one variable increases only one time
while it should increase many times along the execution of the program.
But if I step the software with a debugger line by line
the debugger obtains the right values for the variable
as long as I keep debugging line by line.
Still, the software is useless since it gives the nonupdated values constantly.
What could be wrong with the software/development environment/other?
In the source code there is the appropriate incrementation for the variable.

Thank you for your help!

Is it that when you restart the application, you get the non updated value again?
