Hi everybody !
I sat scjp exam this morning and I passed with the score of 80%. Although I am not satisfied with this score, I am really happy for passing.
I found that the number of questions is 60 and the duration is also reduced. Frankly speaking I have a lot of weaknesses in generic/collection and I thought I will face with complex thread flow. But actually I met with only one easy thread question and so much Generic&Collections questions
But whatever happened, I would like to thank Devaka who makes my concept strong with his ExamLab. Thanks Devaka , I have a plan to donate his website oneday

Congrats, I'm hoping to sit for this test in the near future. What resources did you use and which helped you the most?

So it looks like Threading is not emphasized for this exam?

What percentage of the questions dealt with Generics/Collections?

Hi Charles...
If you hope to sit scjp exam , I would prefer you to use scjp study guide for java6 by K&B. That book is the most popular one among scjp test takers. After reading from cover to cover, you will get a deep knowledges of java theory. There are a lot of self-test questions you can answer in the book. And then you should practise with some pre-exam kits.I used Devaka's ExamLab to make my knowledges strong.
And yes,I really met with a easy threading and a lot of Generic/Collection questions, but I don't want to say threading is not emphasized for this exam. The questions may differ for each candidates. So , it would be better for you to prepare for all objectives.
I hope you do well in the exam...
Yewint..
