can anyone help me to write a simple login form using java..
description :
I need to get the user name password from the user and check with the database(Ms. Access), if the username+password matches the user should get accessed to another (JSP) page.??

please place the code with explanation comments..

That's not the way that JavaRanch works. You write the code. and then get help with any aspects that are giving you problems.

As an approach, when you detect a valid login, place a value in the session that can be checked for. Use a servlet filter to check that this value is there. If so, the user has logged in. If not, then the user needs to log in.
