Hello All,

I have just finished with K & B chapter 9 and i am quiet confused after reading Threads. Many concepts just flew over.
Please help me with some pointers, should i look into some other threads reference also? I am just too confused right now

Is there any specific topic in threads that you are confused about ? When threads deadlock, how to synchronize them etc ?

mmm... I think I ll update my articles to include threads and collections/generics. It might be useful for others

Yes specially when synchronization comes into play and when we start covering deadlocks. There i get completely lost.
I am unable to think of examples and scenario's to code and implement the logic to get my concepts more clearer. Any
pointers?

I find most confusion occurs when locking over a single object Vs locking over instances of the same object Vs locking over a static instance of the object. Here is a helpful link

The thread chapter in the SCJP study guide book is good.

I will try to write up some sample thread programs and post them here when they are ready
