Hello ranchers,
Not sure if this should be a linux or glassfish or liferay issue but here goes. I have centOS running glassfish normally without liferay portal. Then I got the liferay portal jar file bundle with glassfish. I extracted it and start glassfish again. Then I check the admin console and find 4 web portal apps deployed compared to like 9 portal apps on windows (I did the same procedure on windows and it works fine).
The real problem on linux is the main site "http://<hostname>:8080" gets a server error 500 when loading the page. On windows, I see a page similar to the liferay.com main page.
Any one does this type of installation? BTW I have try just using the liferay-glassfish bundle (running setup through ant) but the result is the same.
Worst off is once I start the server it takes forever to stop the server like it hangs or something.
Any idea why I get server error 500 for loading main page?
Thanks in advance.
