Hi,
I am using CMP in my Enterprise application and i have 2 session beans say bean-1 and bean-2.

could any one please tell me , what will be the transaction attribute value for a method in Bean-2 which is being invoked from a method in Bean-1 if no transaction attribute value is given for the method of Bean-2.

i.e when i am invoking Bean-1 method , its attribute is specified as RequiresNew.
From that Bean, invoking Bean-2 's method whose property i have n't specified.so what attribute will that bean-2 will be having? will it be that of its parent's property or is there any defauld property assigned to it by container.

i am using Web Logic server 10.2.

Hi Vijitha,

if method A requires a new transaction, and it calls method B, then method B will always use the same transaction as method A.

so method B will have its parents transaction attribute. is that correct?

Thanks for the reply .
