hi guys,

My website is working fine in ie6 ie7 FF3.5, and it's also working fine in ie8 if use http.

However, if i turn on https protocol, i got a bunch of object expected erros in ie8. I tried turn on/off compatibility and also tried ie7 mode, but had no luck.

Here is a segment of my code

http://pastie.org/602783

first part is my JSF source code and the 2nd part is what it looks like in IE8.

The object expected error happens in character1 of line 61. It seems that _clearJSFFormParameters isn't existed.

And another important error is if i click the submit buttom. an 'A4J' is undefined error will happen in line 55, so I think the javascript that contains A4J componts doesn't load correctly either.

I googled for hours and only found one similar situation

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/695879/problem-related-to-https-that-only-exists-in-ie8-not-any-other-browsers

it's nothing about richfaces, but seems like a clue.

How should i setup richfaces to fix this problem? i am using Richfaces 3.3.1 GA

Thanks
