Hey its me again, finally done with that big project over the summer I bothered everyone about. Now I am in class again and have a new one.

Basically a bunch of questions will be fed into the program, and then the user will go through each question one by one (one question per page) and answer them and hit submit. I can do all that of course, no problem, but the thing we are having to do is have some kind of avatar or personnage act as if he is reading the question to the user, in order to elicit a more realistic response from the user.

I figure I will gather a lot of questions and look at keywords, and store similar keywords in a bunch of Lists, and have the avatar react based on certain keywords when they come on the screen on the questions. Maybe even have hm react to keywords given in the typed response but that will be harder.

So he will basically need to look like he is just reading a generic question for the most part, but if the keywords identify it as say a quantity question ("how much". "many", etc) I might have the avatar put his hand out as if holding some imaginary object or something. I dont know, I can figure that out later.

I have 0 experience with animation, and we are allowed to outsource two parts of this for $100 each, so I figure the animation will be one of those things. I just need to know what format to have this done in I guess.

Or is JSF and java even the right way to go with this? Is there something easier out there I can use that would fit this. Any and all suggestions at this point would be great, it is the beginning of the semester so we have till like mid december.

Oh and for bonus points if we can get the avatar to actually speak and read the question it will ensure a great grade, but that is only if we can get everything else working well.
