Hi!

Can anyone please let me know if there is a compulsory gap period required between Part I first attempt and a retake. I remember vaguely that there used to be a compulsory gap period of at least 4 weeks or so in between a SCJP first attempt and it's retake (I might be wrong about the duration).

TIA!

PS: Yes, I am getting cold feet after reading all the posts about Part I being the "toughest" Sun exam. Hence, I want to plan for a retake too

I found this link while searching through this forum - http://www.sun.com/training/certification/register/retake.html

It states:

One-Week Re-take Testing Policy

Sun has implemented a one-week re-testing policy for all Sun Certification Exams delivered at Prometric. This means that if you have taken an exam, failed it and need to retake the *same* exam again, you will be required to wait ONE week before taking the exam again.

Does this apply to SCEA also, or there is a different policy?
