Spring AOP and Spring DI functionalities looks similar. Both are adding boiler-plate code during runtime to the Spring Beans. What is the difference ?

They're nothing alike; see AOP and compare to DI/IoC.

Nothing similar to me. They are totally different concepts.
Spring AOP is for aspect management, Spring IoC is for dependency management.
