I am using JBoss 4.x, Tomcat Servlet container and Oracle 10g RAC. Which connection pool - DB connection pool or JBoss Application server connection pool or Tomcat connection pool or c3p0/Apache DBCP connection pool gives better performance ?

We used Apache DBCP for our application deployed on Tomcat and so far we did not face any problems even during peak load.
