book for learning Hibernate

Dear All,

I just started with the Buzzword in market, that is Hibernate.

Can someone suggest me a good book on Hibernate? I heard that Hibernate made easy is a good book.
Is this book freely available as an ebook for download. Else i will have to buy it?

Please give your suggestions.

Indeed, Hibernate Made Easy is a good book, although I may be biased.

It's not freely available, so you have to open up your wallet and hand over your hard earned cash. It's worth it, though!

Check out my signature links for some simple tutorials on how to get started and do some basic stuff with Hibernate. You'll find those tutorials can really get you started in a hurry too if you can't afford the book.

If you're serious about advanced Hibernate work, you'll find the King and Bauer book, Java Persistence with Hibernate, is really a great reference book covering everything. It's not the easiest book to learn from, but it is the reference and covers everything. My book is on the other end of the spectrum - it will teach you everything you know to become very effective with Hibernate very quickly, but it doesn't try to boil the ocean by covering everything possible.

There is also the documentation at (Hibernate Reference) which is really thorough.

I want it immediately as it is not available in Dubai. I am a dubai resident.
So i was looking forward to know, is it somewhere available in PDF version, i can pay for that online.
So any pointers will be helpful.

I do not think an e-book version is available at this time. Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc. do not ship internationally?
