Indeed, Hibernate Made Easy is a good book, although I may be biased.
It's not freely available, so you have to open up your wallet and hand over your hard earned cash. It's worth it, though!
Check out my signature links for some simple tutorials on how to get started and do some basic stuff with Hibernate. You'll find those tutorials can really get you started in a hurry too if you can't afford the book.
If you're serious about advanced Hibernate work, you'll find the King and Bauer book,
Java Persistence with Hibernate, is really a great reference book covering everything. It's not the easiest book to learn from, but it is the reference and covers everything. My book is on the other end of the spectrum - it will teach you everything you know to become very effective with Hibernate very quickly, but it doesn't try to boil the ocean by covering everything possible.
Kindest regards!
