RichFaces with Seam and Websphere  RSS feed

Hi,

Have anyone used the below combination and got the things working?

Seam 2.0.1.GA
Richfaces 3.2.0.GA
Websphere 6.1
Facelets 1.1.14
JSF 1.2

If yes, please let me know. I am facing a problem and i need some help

Hi,

I tryed a simillar setup (we didn't use Seam) at my company and also had problems.
I turned out that WAS 6.1 had an implementation of JSF 1.1 embeded in some of his system jar files so I could not easly replace 1.1 with 1.2.
There were some suggestions to set up a classloader in WAS that would load that 1.2 classes before 1.1 from the server, but I could not get it working.
I suggest that if you want to use JSF 1.2 and RichFaces that you go with WAS 7 (it has options for easly changing the implementation from 1.1 to 1.2).

We were able to get out of the classloading issue. We have overridden the WAS classloading strategy.
Even then i face the strage issue.
