I am newbie to programming.

I need to create a variable (or should it be an object instead?) which is in "base64Binary" fir testing purpose. The content is not important right now. How can I do that?

Thanks.

Did you try to Google for it already?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base64

The Apache Commons Codec library contains classes for Base64 encoding and decoding.

Too complicated a question for "beginning Java". Moving thread.
