I'm trying to use c:import to import an xml page. The page is as follows:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<test>
<case> test to validate </case>
</test>

I'm getting a blank page inside my JSP. The error says that the XML refers to an invalid character reference. This xml renders successfully in IE so this seems like a valid XML - it doesn't work in FireFox though.

Does anybody have an idea? Thank you.

Ummm, well...

"Hey, my code has compiler errors."

"No problem, just remove the failing lines."

Technically, it's not valid XML unless the entity is defined. But that's beyond the scope of JSP.
