How can streaming be implemented in JAX-WS

Am thinking of using StAX parser for processing the Responses ,

and make use of StAX's
Pause
Resume

feature to read the WebService's response , pause it

Process the received response & then again resume reading WebService's response.

I am very new to Web Services & JAX-WS.

Any pointers on this would be most welcome.

Also I would like to dig deeprer in to how the binding is working, so would need some help on this.

Thanks,
Gani

Hi!
I haven't tried processing responses in a streaming fashion, but Metro has support for processing large attachments in a such a way.
Take a look at https://jax-ws.dev.java.net/guide/Large_Attachments.html if it is of interest to you.

If you want to parse the XML of a request to a web service, you will want to look at the javax.xml.ws.Provider and the @WebServiceProvider annotation.
Best wishes!
