Do you introduce any open source framework to your design, such as Struts, Webwork, etc?
Or do you use Front Controller, Application Controller and Service to Worker for your presentation layer?
Or you don't even include such detail information into your design?

Thanks!

Nope. It is a "Sun" exam, remember. I didn't introduce any Microsoft technologies either.

JEE/SCEA can be high level. You can say JPA without specifying a provider or implementation. I'm not sure if an architect should be recommending implementations at all, anyways.

On a Sun exam, I'd stick with Sun technologies. On an IBM exam, I stick with IBM technologies. You don't want to ruffle any feathers of the company giving you your cert.

Thank you!

I agree with you that it's safe to use Sun technologies only.
