You can use Ant or Maven to build an ear that you deploy into WAS 7. You can use any IDE for this - IDEA, Netbeans, etc.

It's not a plugin because you wouldn't be integrating. I'm suggesting you write a build script to deploy to WebSphere since you don't want to pay for the integrated tool.

I want to have an integrated environment, just like I can Integrate WAS 6 with Eclipse.. I want WAS 7 to be integrated.. by creating a new server in Eclipse IDE..

Current IDE gives option to create a server and select WAS 6 installation directory path and bingo!! I have an integrated environment..

Thats what I want with WAS 7 too!!

Also, netbeans does not support WAS 7

why you want to do this? you are worring about integration *WAS* into eclipse rather than deployment . *Jeanne Boyarsky* already tells you the way to do this efficiently

I have built my ear and war and can manually deploy to WAS7 via the admin console. I would like to know to hot deploy my ear and war. Would you provide infomation on how to do this?

Cheers!
