Hi,

In my application to get the root of image directory ,i use the following The j2me code

String initDir = System.getProperty("fileconn.dir.photos");

But when i test the application, the above code returns null in motorola phone.but when i test the application in Nokia and sony mobiles i am getting the root value.

So,is there any generalize way so we can get the images root folder of any mobile.

Thanks & Regards,

Chandra Prakash

J2ME doesn't even have native support for cameras, much less a standard folder for images (there's a separate JSR for that). In fact, J2ME doesn't even make assumptions about what the overall organization of whatever filesystem(s) it may support may be.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for your replay,ya i am using JSR 135 standards for camera support in J2ME.

Now to find root folder is there any another way left out.So i can get the root in Motorola mobiles.

Thanks & Regards,

Chandra Prakash
