tcpmon and tcptrace tools doubt  RSS feed

can we know the all data transferred on tcp by tcpmon or tcptrace utilities then can we know the secret data transferred over tcp,like passwords?

Yes, provided you're able to run tcpmon in the machine from where that traffic is sent. A machine *may* be able to read TCP traffic between two other machines on the same network, but that's not a given; and it's not possible at all with a Java application unless you use JNI.

Either way, using encryption (like SSL for HTTP) for sensitive data is important.
