Hello All,
I need some help in understanding how we could use wild characters like * while searching the LDAP.
We are using the search(Name name, String filter, SearchControls cons) for this.
When I try to search something in the LDAP with a filter condition - objectClass=extensible*, it does not give me the right result, and just gives an error stating no objects found.
my code uses the search() with the above signature.
How can i pass wild characters like * so that all the results that start with objectClass=extensible* is listed out.
We have elements with the entry objectClass=extensibleObject in the LDAP but somehow this is never listed when i give the filter condidtion as objectClass=extensible*.

Your suggestion will be of great help to me... Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee.
Thanks a ton in advance...
