Hello, everyone!
I passed this exam very sucessfully.
If you can take some time to prepare in advance (by checking basic webservice archtecture, XML validating API for JAVA, XML schema structure etc.. as written by Sun's official sites), it won't be difficult at all!

The learning materials by MZ were very helpful for me!
I can recommend them for you!

You can find the SCWCD-guide here.
If you want to buy his pre-exam file, you can also send an e-mail to him.

Thanks again, MZ , and JavaRanch.com ^^

Regards,
Rie

Can you tell me which material you referred for "Web service design and architecture" ? I came across a lot of resources but those are not good enough. Can you share your material please...? I'm a newbie in this. Please send the material to my yahoo account: [ARG: Email id removed]

Thanks in advance,

Hi !

It depends on which exam you gonna take :

310-220 (old one) has higher passing score (68%)
310-230 (new one) has lower passing score (42%)

Hi MZ,

If you refer to Sun site (http://www.sun.com/training/catalog/courses/CX-310-230.xml), it is mentioned as 68%. So, bit confussed. Not sure if it is a typo in Sun site.

regards
Meher

Hi Meher !

This was discussed already many times at JavaRanch - Sun site has a typo, real passing score for 310-230 is 42%.

2 Moderators: this might be worth adding to FAQ document ...

best regards,
MZ
