hi everybody, i am chaitanya. i have a problem. i am developing a web application. i am using db2, java1.4 and tomcat4.1 server on windows platform.

previously i was using websphere application server instead of tomcat. i connected to the database using jdbc/odbc driver i.e type 1 driver.

now i migrated to tomcat. tomcat is unable to connect to db2 using type 1 driver. so i thought to change the drivers. but i dont know how to connect to database with type 4 driver. any body please help me.

Database drivers are primarily proprietary libraries created by the database provider. In this case, you want to check your DB2 documentation for what drivers they have created.
