Guys,

Firstly, I have checked all the threds on this topic and tried all the solutions suggested by various posters...but looks like the error I am getting is different and I think I am MISSING A JAR file...
I am trying to apply sorting on datatable...and when I include the attribute sortable = true on t:column...I am getting the below error...

If I remove sortable=true attribute..there is no error...the sort arrow shows up fine but sorting does not work...

any suggestions...

thanks in advance

try using this below code in backing bean

BeanComparator comp = new BeanComparator(sortBy);
Collections.sort(List, comp);

It should work.
