display instance of oracle database vs. schema  RSS feed

Hello,

I need some help or direction if any can; I have a spreadsheet-like view that I created, it is working, but the problem is that it is going to the schema level as opposed to the instance level of the database, and I'm not sure how to make it do that. any thoughts, suggestions, etc... would be more than welcomed. Here is my code that I am using:

Generally in JDBC you work on the schema level, enforcing your own security/filters on a programmatic level. For example, if you want to filter by user, create a user table and manage permissions that way. Although some databases support more sophisticated interactions, most are a pain to use and extremely non-portable.
