Im after peoples opinions of when they should use AJAX and when they should refrain?
and what's wrong with using lots of Ajax in a web site?

I really can't think of any reasons why I MUST use ajax

I suppose that if the user isn't going to refresh the page
too many times ajax isn't needed.

I don't really see an answerable question in there. As with any other technology Ajax can be put to great use or to poor use.
