Hey,

How can we represent two activities that only one activity can be done prior to a another activity?

If I say with a example like, user is submitting a form so before he submitting he select either enter some test in a text area or enter an image. so both activities belong to submit form activity but only one can be done..either submit the text or submit the image?

Thank You.

You could name the activity "Enter Text or Image".

You're right. Fork and join are for modeling parallel activities, which was not what you wanted to do.
