Hi Friends,

I'm developing a project where i need to use EJB3 with jdk 6. I'm using jboss-5.0.1.GA, but it does not support jdk6.

I tried to deploy a EJB3 app which is using jdk6 in jboss-5.0.1.GA but i could not succed. when i tried the same using jdk5 it worked

So if any of you have an idea regarding this please help me.

I need to know which version of jboss supports jdk6.

Thanks in advance,
Anil.

All versions of JBoss AS-5 (even AS 5.0.1 and 5.1.0) support JDK6. What exceptions are you seeing?

Yes you can. But why do you want to do that? After all JPA is a spec and Hibernate an implementation? Using standard Java Persistence API instead of Hibernate specific API is going to make the application more portable.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
