Hi.

I feel that learning Java alone will not made a man happy and it will not made a man complete, unless we are spiritually strong and motivated.
There is a gap. If there is a forum, where we can disscuss and learn about basic human values like Love, Compassion, Passion, Integrity, Wisdom, Simplicity, Austerity, Truthfullness, and all other positive qualities, sharing motivational stories of great people, I think that replaces the gap. And our quality of life will increase, and it affect on producitivity a lot. I think this replaces the gap of JavaRanch as well. Any comments on this? Thankyou.

What you are talking about seems to me more about values of life than about personality development.
I must agree its a nice thought. And its really great to know that there are people like you who care about these values.
I rarely find people talking about human values nowadays.Everywhere they are talking about recession.(in my circle of freshers atleast)

So good luck to you Chinmaya in your endeavour.I think there must be forums for these on www.
But having such a forum here may not harm anyone.

I think where there's human values, there is a development in personality, as five elements is to Life.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
