This does resizing of image but quality in unbearable.
Anyone got better way?

Here's a good treatise on image scaling in Java: The Perils of Image.getScaledInstance(). Look for discussion of the "bilinear" and "bicubic" rendering hints.

Thanks Ulf for URL.
I was not using getScaledInstance() though.

I changed my code as explained:


But no improvement in quality...
