getting Regional Settings in Windows XP using jsp or java

Hi, i want to get the reginal settings values e.g. List seperator value to be accesed in my program (jsp/java). Is there any API or means to get it acheived. Please help.

I don't understand. Do you have an example?

If you mean the operating system settings, you can't get them from a web page.

thaks for the reply and you got it right.
I want to get the values like List seperator, Decimal format etc. whcih are set under the "control Panel" ->"Regional and Language Options"-> Customize.
Basically, my intention was to get the List seperator value that has been set by the user and use that as delimiter for my export to excel functionality.
so, you mean to say we can't these values by any means into a web page?

You can call request.getLocale() to get the users locale. Using that with SimpleDateFormat or NumberFormat outputs the appropriate message.

It's indirectly from the user, but not by reading the control panel. Search for "internationalization" to learn more.
