Http session across multiple EARs

I am curious to know the following:-
--> is it possible to share http session across multiple EARs running on same application server.
i.e weblogic server/Jboss
--> is it possible to share http session across multiple EARs running on different application server.
i.e weblogic server/Jboss

Please share the steps/way to achive the same.

Jboss doesn't allow http session sharing in multiple ears. Each ear can have thier own seesion

but single session will work with Iplanet server in multi ears environment

Kindly let me know can it be done on weblogic server 10.0 ?
Please share the steps asap...

Are you talking about http JSESSION or the session object that is bound to a user ?
