All methods in the remote interface must declare that it throws the RemoteException. These methods may also declare application exceptions in the throws clause. Why not declare the general "Exception" in the throws clause? What are the implications?

Even in plain old JavaSE, declaring "throws Exception" is not considered as a good approach.
