Hi,
For my project I have created a hotel reservation class but I have made it implement serializable. I notice in the project description for non-networking mode it states "and must not involve the serialization of any objects when communicating between the GUI and database elements". Does serialization just occur across a network or if a class implements serializable, will it automatically be serialized even in non-networked mode?
Thanks.

No no, champ. No worries. It will just be serialized if you say so (via ObjectOutputStream) or when you work in network mode.
