Is the questions in the real examp harder than questions in sierra and bates book?

Hi!

I'm preparing for taking SCJP exam and now, I've just end the Chapter 3 of the sierra and bates book.
I have many years experience in Java and can understand most of what I've read in the book.

Anyway, I did the self tests after the end of each chapter. I were always tricked by the questions and have never
corrected more than half of the questions.

This discourages me a lot.

I wonder if the real test is harder than the questions the the book.

the real test tends to be easier than those mocks you take. If you understand the concepts and get familiar with the question types then you will be fine

well don't worry about the mistakes !!! just understand the concepts . after practicing a lot of questions you will find them easy.

i think the real exam is of the same level as that of the self test given in the last of the each chapter. but the mock tests available for the exam like whizlab, enthuware,examlab etc are harder.

I feel that the questions in the self test are a little harder than the real exam. One of the reasons being that the questions in the self test don't tell you how many options are correct...
