What is the meaning of pentaho data integration ?
Is it able to connect to different database at once ?

From Pentaho's Site:

"Broad data source support including packaged applications, over 30 open source and proprietary database platforms, flat files, Excel documents, and more"

But I don't know if we can have two database or more working on the same time...

You can easily write a transformation that connects, merges, and creates a result from multiple databases and flat files at once. In Pentaho Reporting 3.5, you can connect directly to a transformation, making it possible to generate a report based on mulitple databases.
