this is my servlet


this is my jsp


this is person class


i am using eclips IDE
my Select servlet is in "WEB-INF\classes"
my result jsp is in "WEB-INF\classes"
my Person class is in "WEB-INF\classes\foo"
but when i right click and run the select servlet it gives

I think JSP should not be their in "WEB-INF\classes" folder

It shouldn't.

But the servlet should also be mapped; if I remember correctly Tomcat no longer ships with the invoker enabled by default.

So far this isn't IDE-related.

ya exactly David. From tomcat 5 onwards it doesn't support invoker by default but if we don't want to make entry in web.xml then we have to enable by editing server.xml file
