Hey,
I'm trying to use 3 layers: access control, services and data. I'd like to use VO's in my Struts Application, but I don't know where to find ValueObject.class.
Simple question: where can I get a .JAR file that include an implementation of this class?
Valeu galera!

I don't think there's one specific ValueObject class. The pattern formerly known as Value Object is now preferably called the Transfer Object pattern (a simplification of Martin Fowler's name for it, "Data Transfer Object"). The implementation will depend on what kind of data you want to transfer.

Hi,
Value Object is just a Sun Pattern to e.g. reduce network traffic when work with EJB's. In an environment without EJB's a value object makes no sense, cause it is a simple class which represents a data object. Check out the following resource
Transfer Object

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
