I prepared a WAR through MyEclipse IDE for Tomcat and deployed into JBOSS AS. Didn't work. Same way I prepared it for JBOSS and deployed it in JBOSS and it worked.
Isn't WAR is WAR? Has it anything to do with MyEclipse Utility?

PS:- I don't have much knowledge about JBOSS.

I don't know if this belongs to Tomcat,JBOSS or IDE forum.

Happy Diwali

We can't guess what's wrong, unless you explain us what you mean by "didn't work" and "worked"

Sometimes "things does not work out well" on jboss when built-in libs of jboss differs from tomcat's libraries. For example, if some library not found!

You're correct.
I use MyEclipse IDE and prepare the WAR file through its utility. I prepared WAR for TOMCAT and deployed it in JBOSS. and the start the JBOSS server. My URL is www.ServerAddress:Port#/ApplicationName/login.htm. Now, when I type this in browser, it says that it can't find requested resource.

But when I prepared the same WAR for JBOSS , it works without throwing above error.

So what could possibly be wrong? I will see if there is any difference among WARs.

It is on Linux machine. and I start it remotely through putty. The error is can't find the login.htm, not unable to connect.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
