I had a first round of interview. Many technical and basic questions were asked in the first round. It lasted for 52 minutes.
Now they have invited me for second round of interview for face 2 face. Now i am little worried. As i always do feel
i can do good in phonic compared to face 2 face.
Anyway, my questions is what should i expect from them in 2nd round, i am confused ?
(hint- they have told me they want me to meet HR and all persons there and they want to check my personality)
what dress code should i follow ? (may be suit-)
also they have asked me to my previous employer information. As i have been doing consulting actively. Should i
mention about my previous consulting companies or Client company name's . Because they have asked the name of
my supervisor. i believe i should enter the consulting company address and for supervisor name my manager name
of the client company where i actually worked. Any help guys here.
It is great that they asked you to return for a second interview. There is no reason to be confused. A second and possibly a third interview is normal. There are many, many individuals that read a few web pages and claim experiences that they never had (especially with Java.) The ability to recite "canned" answers and the ability to apply technical knowledge to real-world situations is not the same.
You should certainly where a suit to a job interview.
Your previous employer would be the consulting company that you worked for, not the client. If you were an independent contractor, captured the sale and signed contracts with client and received funds directly from client, then the client is your employer.
Your supervisor is the the manager at the consulting company that hired you, not the manager at the client. Unless, you were an independent contractor. Then the manager at the client would be your supervisor.
