Hey,

Can some one tell me the demand for Pega developers and the carrier opportunities out there for Pega?

My passion is Java (did SCJP,SCWCD too) but got an job offer as Pega developer with training.

Since there is kind of no jobs right now for Java i decide to take the Pega job offer.

Is Pega relate with Java because I have seen usually it ask Pega/j2EE developers in vacancies?

Thank You.

Dear All,

Can any one suggest me,how we expect the market for PEGA PRPC?

In now a days, is PEGA a good tool for minimize the coding time(especially compare with JAVA folks),wil we expect is it a good fit for future expectations?
Can any one provide more details about PEGA?(is it a competitor for JAVA)?

Thanks in advance for your valuable information(replies)

Some of the larger (e.g. Finance, investment bank, insurance, telecom, etc) organizations are using BPM products. I think it is Java based. Java/JEE can be self-taught, but learning BPM, SOA, and other middle-ware products are best learned on the job. It will also help you differentiate yourself from others by having Java/JEE + experience in BPM/SOA, etc.

I don't know about in India, but in Australia, there are a few companies using Pega. In fact the investment bank I am currently working for is implementing it.
