Hello,
I teach an html class. A couple of my students are very advanced, and are interested in other languages. One is very interested in Java, and the other C++. I would love to challenge them and give them an extra project in these languages, but I don't know the first thing about them. Does anyone have any suggestions, or could you point me in the direction where I could find a project with these languages? Thanks!

This isn't the best forum to post this within -- I'll move ti off to the general Java forum for you.

Welcome to JavavRanch

Please do a search for "Java project" because similar questions have been asked several times and those old answers might help you.
