How to encrypt/decrypt creditcard numbers in a database?

Hi All,

1. Any one can give an example for encrypt the credit card number into a database and decrypt from the database to UI.

2. please provide configuration details for encrypting/decry spring and hibernate.

I think I'm missing the point of the question.

How is encrypting/decrypting CC data any different from encrypting/decrypting any other data?

How is encrypting/decrypting data while using Spring and/or Hibernate any different from encrypting/decrypting data while using any other framework?
