Hi,
I am starting a new project. This project is a performance critical application and don't have high-end servers. There could be huge hps on the server.

Would hibernate reduce the performance by atleast a bit?

Cheers

I am afraid such broad questions about performance are not answerable. Kind of like asking if a car will get you where you want to go faster or kill you. Both are possible. I am sure hibernate can be fast or a bottleneck depending on what the application does and how you use it. I can say it probably can't kill you though.
