I've tried to run rmi example from
sun page
. The server is running but when I try to run client, the following error is shown:

Looks like while starting the server you have specified:
-Djava.rmi.server.hostname=xyz
Is that correct?
The server hostname defaults to localhost, so you dont need to do anything if you are running everything on the same box.
