Hi !

I am an EJB newbie and am starting preparation for SCBCD 5.0. Wanted to know if this exam requires knowledge of EJB 2.0 as well.

Should I also do EJB2.0 from a knowledge perspective and not just certification perspective ?

Thanks
Tanuj

Hi Tanuj,

I'm an EJB newbie too! I have started with EJB 3.0 There is no reason to read for EJB 2.0 To be more specific I'm studying from EJB 3 (Orreily) and EJB In action. Orreily's book so far gives an exetended perspective of using annotation (EJB 3.0) and how to use deployment descriptors instead for annotations. Both books mention if there is something to know from EJB 2.0

If you want to take my advice you should start with EJB 3.0

Regards,
Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for your reply. I have started with O'Reilly EJB3 & Mastering EJB 3.0. I think I will add EJB 3.0 in action to the list as well.'

Thanks
Tanuj
